The unavoidable

The region is known for its many activities. At 30 minutes, don't miss the Peaugres Safari where you will discover animal species on more than 80 hectares of nature. 45 minutes away, in Hauterive, discover the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval , the work of a postman carried out in 33 years. Visit the Gorges du Doux by Vélorail , an unmissable activity. Take a train ride along the cliffside with the Train de l'Ardèche . Travel back in time and discover a sparkling cave, the Grotte de Choranche, located 1h30 away. And finally, don't miss the Château de Crussol, an 11th century building.

Hiking and Heritage

For nature walks, go to the Vercors Regional Nature Park and the Pilat Nature Park. You can practice: hiking or cycling.

Biking enthusiasts can set off to conquer the region: Descent of Saint Regis, The fortified houses of Quintenas in Ardoix, Le Grand-Moulinaud , The Ay d'Ardoix gorges. Do not miss the walks along the water: Sarras and Tournon.

Visiting museums and parks

For holidaymakers wishing to learn more about the history of the region, we invite you to discover Tournon-sur-Rhône and its castle museum, classified as a historic monument, but also the Canson Paper Mills Museum in the birthplace of the Montgolfier brothers, the Leather and Parchment Museum in Annonay and the Still Museum in Saint-Désirat. Don't miss the story of prehistoric men in the Grotte de Soyons .
